Kerala – The Green Paradise

Day 1 – ARRIVAL AT COCHIN AND SIGHTSEEING OF COCHIN || VIA PVT A/C CAR

• Upon arrival at Cochin, the confluence point of the alluring Arabian Sea and the serene backwaters, you will be warmly greeted by our representatives at the airport or railway station. 
• Check in to your hotel, unwind, and freshen up. Later, explore Cochin’s major attractions: visit the Folklore Museum, wander through Jew Town, and marvel at the Jewish Synagogue (closed on Fridays and Saturdays). Continue to the Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays), St. Francis Church (closed on Sundays), and Santa Cruz Basilica. 
• Enjoy a stroll at Fort Kochi Beach, view the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, and relax at Marine Drive. Conclude your day with some shopping at Lulu Mall. 
• Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.

TRANSFER TO MUNNAR|| VIA PVT A/C CAR

• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and embark on a scenic drive to Munnar, the ‘Nature Lover’s Paradise,’ known for its lush greenery, captivating hills, and expansive tea plantations. 
• En route, visit the beautiful Cheeyappara Waterfalls. 
• Upon arrival in Munnar, check in to your hotel or resort. 
• The rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore the serene surroundings. 
• Overnight stay at the hotel/resort in Munnar.

MUNNAR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING || VIA PVT A/C CAR

• Wake up to a beautiful morning, have breakfast, and get ready for a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar. 
• Start with a visit to Echo Point, followed by Kundala Lake and Kundala Dam. Explore the picturesque Mattupetty Lake and Dam, and enjoy a boat ride. Visit the lush Munnar Tea Gardens, the Tea Museum & Tea Factory. Optionally, enjoy an elephant ride. Continue to Rose (Blossom) Garden, Pothamedu View Point, Hydel Park, and various photo shooting points. Shop for tea powder as souvenirs. Visit the Eravikulam National Park (entry tickets at your own cost) to spot the exotic Nilgiri Tahr and other wildlife. 
• Overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.

TRANSFER TO THEKKADY || VIA PVT A/C CAR

• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady, located near the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. 
• Check in to your hotel/resort upon arrival and relax for a while. Later, visit the Periyar National Park, a protected reserve forest home to diverse flora and fauna, including elephants, sambar, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed macaques, and Nilgiri langurs. 
• Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake, one of the largest artificial lakes in India. After the boat ride, explore local spice plantations, go shopping, and optionally attend a Kathakali or Kalarippayattu show (if time permits, at your own cost). 
• Overnight stay at the hotel/resort in Thekkady.

TRANSFER TO ALLEPPEY || VIA PVT A/C CAR

• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey, often referred to as the ‘Venice of the East’ due to its vast network of lakes, lagoons, and rivers. 
• Check in to your hotel upon arrival. Explore the scenic beauty of Alappuzha, famous for its backwaters, boat races, beaches, marine products, and coir industry. Visit Vembanad Lake, Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple, the Coir Weaving Industry (Boat charges at own cost), and Alleppey Beach. 
• In the evening, you can opt for an Ayurvedic massage and spa (at own cost). 
• Overnight stay at the hotel in Alleppey.

TRANSFER TO COCHIN AIRPORT || VIA PVT A/C CAR

• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Cochin. 
• Arrive at Cochin International Airport or Railway Station, marking the end of your memorable Kerala tour. Bid farewell to the beautiful backwaters and serene locales of Kerala & The tour concludes with happy memories.
